    Why This Recipe Works

We can’t get enough of this comforting and warming vegan apple crumble. It’s a real crowd-pleaser and it’s already on our menu for this year’s Christmas. It’s just so delicious, especially with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream.

And you can easily make it ahead, which makes it perfect for the holidays. Just follow the recipe and assemble everything in a baking dish. Then cover it and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

The recipe couldn’t be much simpler. All you have to do is slice the apples, place them in a casserole dish, sweeten them with maple syrup, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Then place the ingredients for the crumbles in a food processor and pulse a few times. The rolled oats and the ground almonds give it the perfect chewy texture. And the crumbles become perfectly crispy.

    What Goes Into This Recipe

    • Cinnamon
    • Spices – nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom.
