This vegan apple crumble with juicy and sweet apples and a crispy oat topping makes the perfect dessert in the colder months! The recipe is super easy and it’s perfect for the holidays.
Why This Recipe Works
We can’t get enough of this comforting and warming vegan apple crumble. It’s a real crowd-pleaser and it’s already on our menu for this year’s Christmas. It’s just so delicious, especially with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream.
And you can easily make it ahead of time, which makes it perfect for the holidays. Just follow the recipe and assemble everything in a baking dish. Then cover it and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
The recipe couldn’t be much simpler. All you have to do is slice the apples, place them in a casserole dish, sweeten them with maple syrup, and sprinkle everything with cinnamon.
Then place the ingredients for the crumbles in a food processor and pulse a few times. The rolled oats and the ground almonds give it the perfect chewy texture. And the crumbles become perfectly crispy.
We’ve made this recipe so many times and it’s always a real winner!
