This plant-based apple crisp freezes really well. Let it cool down completely before freezing it for up to 3 months. Thaw it overnight in the fridge, then bake it for 20 minutes at 350 °F.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of apples should I use?

My personal favorite for this recipe is Granny Smith. But Golden Delicious or Fuji are also a great choice. Simply use the apples you like best.

    Should I peel the apples?

I’ve tried this recipe both ways, with peeled and unpeeled apples. And I like both versions, so it’s completely up to you. When you leave the skins on, make sure to wash the apples before starting with this recipe.
