To celebrate the long-awaited beginning of the warmer season, we made this no-churn vegan oreo ice cream with peanut butter and peanuts. It’s so decadent, extremely yummy, and super easy to make!
Spring is finally here! Yeeeeahhh. This weekend was so sunny and I was wearing a t-shirt outside for the first time this year. Oh boy, how I missed this! So this of course also means it’s finally time for ICE CREAM!!
What You Need For This Vegan Oreo Ice Cream:
You don’t need an ice cream maker to try this vegan oreo ice cream and it’s ready in less than 5 minutes! All you need is:
- frozen bananas
- oreo cookies
- peanut butter (chunky if possible)
- and a good blender
When I first had ice cream made with frozen bananas, I just couldn’t believe how creamy and sweet it was. I usually add frozen berries, like strawberries and raspberries, to make a fruity version, but this chocolate peanut ice cream seriously blew my mind.
Raw banana ice cream or nice cream as many call it perfectly shows that you don’t need sugar or other processed ingredients to satisfy your sweet cravings. Just keep some peeled bananas in your freezer, so you’re ready to make vegan banana ice cream whenever you want. If you haven’t tried nice cream yet, you should really treat yourself with this guilt-free frozen dessert!
Once in a while, I even have nice cream for breakfast (usually it’s just bananas and berries topped with a little granola) and I know that a lot of people on Instagram have this almost every day. I mean ice cream for breakfast, how much better can life actually get, right?! Haha! No, but seriously, I was dreaming of having ice cream for breakfast when I was a kid. Too bad I didn’t know about nice cream back then.
Although this vegan oreo ice cream is clearly not as healthy as the nice cream I usually have, it’s just as good if not even a tiny bit better! I’m so glad that oreos are vegan (or actually accidentally vegan I guess). They were my favorite cookies growing up and I guess I could have lived off oreo cookies for a while if my mom had let me. Well, I’m glad she didn’t and although I don’t eat them very often anymore, I still love them especially in cookie dough ice cream.
I hope you like this vegan oreo ice cream as much as I do. Let me know if you give it a try. As always, I love hearing from you guys!

Super Easy Vegan Oreo Ice Cream
- 4 ripe bananas, cut into slices and frozen for at least 12 hours
- 8 oreo cookies
- 1 tablespoon chunky peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon peanuts
- Put the frozen bananas, the chunky peanut butter, and three of the oreo cookies in a blender and process until smooth. If needed add a little almond or other plant-based milk to make it easier for the blender.
- When the nice cream is smooth add three more oreo cookies and pulse for a about three seconds.
- Fill the nice cream into two cups and top if off with the remaining two oreos (crumbled), the peanuts, and some banana slices. Enjoy!
This is almost too easy! Brilliant idea to combine Oreos with nice cream.
It’s really is super easy, Alisa! :-)

That’s a great take on Orea ice cream! I love the added nut butter. YUM!
My favorite nice cream is banana, espresso beans, cacao nibs & Sunbutter (can’t have nuts in the house). It’s like a chocolate mocha nut bowl but now I’m going to have to indulge a little and throw in some Oreos :). I bet that is amazing.
Oh this sounds amazing, Nicole!! Can’t wait to give it a try. :-)

I was just going through a massive inbox full of emails but then I saw this. Whoa. Stop everything. I gotta go see this up close immediately! I don’t think I can even express in words how much I want that pretty blue bowl in my hands right now :o Just oreo nicecream would’ve been awesome, but then you make it peanutty too and I just melt inside <3
Haha! Thanks so much for your comment, Natalie! :-)
Thank goodness that winter is finally coming to a close, and we can welcome nice cream back again. It’s been way too long since I’ve made a batch. Yours looks delightful!
